Charlie Rocks...(Voted - the worst drummer in the world...by the rest of the band !) Only Joking, he is amazing!... Outstanding in his field – where one can often find him – Charlie could have been a second-hand car dealer , but soon realised that it helps to have customers ,so applied himself to inventing electric drum kits. This seemed a good idea at the time although he quickly ran out of batteries and then discovered that bits of the kit had their own ideas of when to work and when not....the latter happened mostly when he was playing !



Keef Rockhard - (Voted - the best owner
of a “Nocaster”....by the “4 b’ 2 offcut and plank club”) ...thought of as the English equivalent to Davy Crockett with his hairstyle somewhat akin to that great hero’s hat. An expert on badgers, Keef is noted for having become a member of the “Matchless” owners’ club ,which confuses the others in the band who thought he was either into motor bikes or had given up smoking – something he doesn’t do anyway ! Keef’s “Matchless” is his amp. It smells nice - according to Keef! –which accounts for him wandering around by the backline with a beatific grin on his face !

Ronnie Woodentop - (Voted - most authentic Ronnie Woodentop.... by his plectrum ).
Never knowingly undersold - and never knowingly playing - , Ronnie couldn’t refuse the offer of a “Gold Top”, but was somewhat puzzled when he received a guitar rather than a bottle of creamy milk. He is renowned for his solos...but that is because the rest of the band prefer not to play when he is playing...... – they do however sometimes join in out of sympathy. Much of Ronnie’s working life is taken up searching for the buzz that comes from his pedal board.....he still hasn’t found that wasp !



Bill Wyldman - (Voted - at the last election... and disappointed because he couldn’t put noughts as well as crosses ! ) The rebel of the band , a four string wizard and an icon (or is that air-con ?) to his legions of fans. Bill may be the strong, silent one on stage, but he is the storyteller of the band..... (and so should really be writing this bit of biog !). Keen on taming Jackdaws, Bill is hoping to teach one to play drums....cheaper to feed than Charlie !


Chuck Notwell - (Voted most popular musician in the world...... by the Society of Hearing Aid manufacturers). Noted for his notes on his keyboard, and for not being well , Chuck is also famed for his knowledge of fish. He regularly practises his “scales,” (though sometimes you might find that hard to believe), but has been known to lose his “plaice” in rehearsals. Part time folding bike dealer , Chuck has a vast collection of keyboards – (no one knows quite why, as they’re not just to hang his keys on) – and his ambition is, quite simply, to collect even more !

but is told on many occasions not to stand
